unexpected boost

A friend called me out of the blue to invite me to go to the Muni with her. She said she wanted to invite someone who would want to have a lot of fun and laugh all night, so she called me because I am the 'funnest' person she knows!

I found that very humbling and flattering because she's experiencing a very difficult time in her life. It felt great to be the one she chose!
