Deneb, everyone is right I think. If you only want to lose some weight and you are in the high bmi normal range, then maybe you could join weight watchers. I think they have weight watchers in Canada. That way once you lose the few pounds you want to lose you can go on maintenance with them and they have a core eating plan that would fit really well with your desire to do the Mediterranean diet in case you don't want to count points. It is just a thought. Please don't beat yourself up. It will only make you feel worse....
