The original Pfeiffer Treatment Center no longer exists. The physicians and founder William Walsh, PhD, left a few years ago. Two of the lead physicians - Albert Mensah, MD and Judith Bowman, MD - started their own clinic in 2009 near Chicago. It is called Mensah Medical. They continue to do the same work developed by William Walsh, PhD and the late Carl Pfeiffer, MD, PhD. My children were seen by Drs. Mensah and Bowman for their anxiety, depression and focus issues. They uncovered their biochemical imbalances through lab tests, extensive history, etc., and prescribed a combination of vitamins, minerals and amino acids tailored to their brain-body chemistry. My husband and I are happy to report that they are all doing well socially and academically. And without drugs! They are worth every penny!

It looks for nutritional imbalances and deficiencies in your body that could be responsible for the depressive, etc. symptoms being experienced. I've been medicated for depression for about6 years now and want to start looking into holistic methods. But it's expensive. Has anyone been there, and if so, have you had success with it?
