Testosterone not responsive to TRT supps at fault?

Posted by uncouth on September 18, 2011, at 16:44:35

My T is very low, i'm 31 years old, in reasonbly good physical shape (but bipolar and on bipolar meds). I also take a bunch of supplements for my mental/physical health. Anyway, my T was 330 2 months ago, then my doctor put me on 60mg of Axiron, which is a new supposedly much more effective than Androgel T gel. I got tested last week and after 2 months of this, my T went DOWN to 320! WTF?!

So we're now tripling the dose of Axiron above recommended range, but I'm wondering if any of the supplements i'm taking you guys think may have any negative impact? My doctor doesn't think my meds are responsible, but if those look fishy to you let me know as well:

Supplements taken on fairly regular basis though not all the time and all simultaneously:
L-Arginine
Alpha lipoic acid
Curcumin
Omega-3 fish oil
Rhodiola
Multivitamin
B-complex
N-Acetylcysteine
B12
DLPA
L-Tryptophan
Melatonin
L-Tyrosine
L-theanine
Grape Seed Extract
Resveratrol
Chromium Picolinate
Magnsium
Zinc
Green Tea extract
L-Methylfolate
lithium orotate

Meds:
bupropion
seroquel
metformin
carbamazepine
adderall
mirapex

yeah i know its alot, you don't ahve to tell me that
