interesting, don't know if it ties to mitochondria directly but intermittent fasting improves whats it oxidative chain i think. it also improves hypocretinergic tone improving mood. Cellular energy state is affected by creatine and it has antidepressant properties and has a few cases of induction of mania. ALCAR and coq10 can both improve functioning if its problematic in certain cses. alcar i notice improving mental energy, especially if i didn't sleep enough.
