I just buy the ampoules and give myself the shots?The ampoules are only about $3 each US ? and I give about 1/2 ampoule at a time a few days apart once a month? That's hydroxycobalamin ampoules but I'd assume methylcobalamin would cost about the same.
I purchase mine from an online pharmacy.I also give myself B1 shots at only about 10mg to 20mg at a time(the ampoule is 100mg) which is all I need and it helps me utilise the B12 shots, otherwise , for some obscure reason, the B12 makes the palms of my hands and soles of my feet go purplish red and tingle. I'm assuming the B12 depletes the B1 when it is being used up :-) I also make sure I take some P5P form of B6 (either eneteric coated or sublingual) and a multiB with folic acid and biotin at the same time to help the uilisation of the B12.
It really does give me a lift and also seems to perhaps alleviate neuropathic pain at least as well as antiinflammatories :-) Hope it continues working!
I couldn't afford to pay a doctor to give me tghe shots.. the docotr suggested I give them to myself, and showed me how,.. that's why I started
