Minerals and low energy

I've read that three minerals are important for proper energy production, they being zinc, magnesium, and manganese. Personally, I like zinc and magnesium, but I don't like how manganese makes me feel. These minerals along with vitamins B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), and B5 (pantothenic acid) are all supposedly essential for good energy production. Zinc and manganese supplements are supposed to be good for people that have high copper, like a certain percentage of bipolars and schizophrenics. I find that taking the RDA of zinc, about 15mg, along with magnesium, B12, B6, and B3 helps me with my depression. I find that manganese makes me feel worse, but it is said that one symptom of zinc or manganese deficiency is fatigue, which is a major problem for a lot of depressives. I definitely notice a difference almost immediately when I take zinc. Some people do fine on 15mg of zinc, while others, especially those with prylouria, need 100mg of zinc. I wouldn't take this much zinc unless my zinc levels were tested because taking too much zinc can have an effect of lowering your copper levels, and if your copper is already low, that could be a problem. Copper in trace amounts is necessary for thyroid, proper utilization of iron, noradrenaline synthesis. Most sources say DO NOT supplement with copper unless your copper levels have been tested by a doctor because if you're already high copper, taking copper supplements could worsen your depression.
