Let's talk about: FOLIC ACID / DEPLEN

Hi,
i became interested in using deplen, after reading about it on this board, in conjunction with lexapro - which i'm due to start next week. unfortunately, i went to see my gp today and it's not available where i live. i then tried my naturopath who hadn't heard of it either, but after googling it, instead sold me a bottle of mega folic acid - each tablet of which contains 5mg of folic acid. is there any chance 5mg is strong enough to have a similar effect to the deplen? also, if lexapro theoretically doesn't work out, will i obtain any benefit from sticking with the mega dosage of folic acid anyway ...?
