SAM-e for atypical depression

Hello everyone,
I've been unsuccessful with AD medication so far and have been considering trying SAM-e only it's SO expensive... I have atypical depression, with the same old sleeping a lot, eating a lot, chronic story. Has anyone had a good response from just SAM-e in atypical depression?
