Okay I feel like I should be able to figure this out but with the added complication of a mood disorder I am so overwhelmed with all the multi-vitamin choices and then what to take with them (like extra calcium, what kind of calcium etc.) in the right ratios, and what will help or hurt my mood...bla bla bla. It's just too complex for me and I did search through the archives and read all kinds of stuff on the net but couldn't find much help. Most have extra stuff in their formulas and I don't know what might aggravate my mood/condition (which more and more seems like PCOS or something hormone-related). So I thought some of the people here with a better understanding of vitamins and how they work together and all that might already know of a good mutli and be so kind as to help me out? Is liquid better than pill? One multi that looks good to me is from NSI (Synergy basic 2 or something). I have been taking one from Rainbow Light but I think something in it is making me a little wonky because I feel better when i don't take it. Also, do I need 16,000-83,000 % daily value of B-12?? Or C? Or 200% A? Is it so bad to take a little bit of Iron (I don't eat much meat at all)? Is Silica as benign as they say? Sorry for so many questions, but I will be so grateful for any help with this.
Thanks,
Meg
