Nerve root pain

Posted by Declan on February 8, 2007, at 19:38:01

From time to time my degenerative spinal condition (how I love to embrace the portentious and fearful) causes me pain.

Right now I can feel the thing in my upper back that is referred from my neck. Last time it took 6 weeks to resolve.
Kinda interesting, but you wouldn't want to have to do much else when it gets going (easier for me than most).

Apart from DLPA, which I find it hard to get enthusiastic about, what about fish oil and alpha lipoic acid?
ALA is used with neuropathy, but is that different?
There's a limit to how much fish oil I can tolerate.

I may have to poison myself with ibuprofen.

Any ideas?
