I don't see any information relating to safety issues, however that doesn't mean there aren't any.
Pentacyclic Oxindole Alkaloids in Cat’s Claw are the alkaloids with beneficial actions.
Tetracyclic Oxindole Alkaloids are claimed to significantly interfere with the beneficial actions of Pentacyclic Oxindole Alkaloids in Cat’s Claw.
Some Cat’s Claw products deliberately exclude the Tetracyclic Oxindole Alkaloids content of Cat’s Claw from their products.
This maybe something to consider when choosing a Cat's Claw product.
