No, I really havn't read enough books on the subject, to recomend any. Perhaps there are others on the board that would be more capable of offering such advice.
I do read a number of case reports online, usually just by using a search engine.
One supplement I would definately recomend (since your case may have roots in your acutaine use) is omega-3 supplements.
I have read some case reports of omega-3 fatty acids being used sucessfully to treat acutaine induced depression.
There have been a number of theories for acutaine induced depression, and one is a neurolipid theory. Acutaine works by altering the lipid profile of the skin, and may also alter the lipid profile of the brain.
Omega-3 posesses significant antidepressant properties in certain people (myself included),
and may have a specific utility in treating depression caused by acutaine.There were a few articles discussing the connection, which I will see if I can find again.
If you do choose to add omega-3 supplements to your regiment, it can take a number of weeks for your brain to incorperate them.
