If only they actually knew what was wrong with the depressed brain. The serotonin transporter has been studied for a while, but the genetic testing is all coming out negative.
Infact the most depressed people seem to have the short-short varient of the transporter gene, which actually codes for a slower reuptake of serotoin, than in their non-depressed counterparts.
