Nevertheless, I was a little concerned when I read that it had an effect on MAO since I had been told that SSRIs should not be mixed MAO inhibitors. I did, however, see in old threads that one or two people combined Rhodolia with a SSRI.

Thanks Larry. I have an appointment with the pdoc on Tuesday, and I will bring to the appointment literature I received which describes Rosavin and how it works. I haven't been having much luck with ADs (have been on four in the past year with minimal relief), so I was hoping to augment naturally. I had tried L-Tyrosine, but I think I started too high (500 mg, three times a day) with L-Glutamine (500 mg, twice a day) and became really agitated and jittery. May try again since it did help initially with energy and motivation, but at a much lower dose to begin with.

Thanks again. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!

Tamara
