I didn't use it last winter, and I had the worst winter since I've been hospitalized (eight years ago). It's hard to exclude coincidence from my observations, but there you have it.
If you decide to give it a go, I heartily recommend the Sadelite by Northern Light Technologies. It is robustly constructed, fully assembled, delivers in days, and probably the best "bang for the buck" on the market.
