Fish Oil 3 Grams together with Vit Etake these with your "highest protein-oil" meal of the day...lunch or dinner..as soon as you finish eating them. Start at only 1 gram fish oil..
By "high protein-oil" I mean fish, meat, eggs etc
Vitamin A 5000 I.U.
Vitamin D 400 I.U.
Don't take these in your summer(few weks in winter only if you live in a cold climate..and even then not daily)..VitA is toxic if they build up too much in your body..and some forms hypos have trouble in utilizing
Calcium 424 mg
Magnesium 256 mg
Choride 746 mg
I assume these are together in a tablet...bedtime is best.
Couple of things to add..did you get a test for ferritin as yet? That is probably one of the most important things to try for you...please read the links, If you follow thru the posts I mentioned to read before..and even other posts in the thread on ferritin I pointed out..or better still go to that thyroid forum (by clicking on the link I menioned) and start reading...
since posting that and emailing some people quite a batch of research articles have been published which kinda back up my thoughts...and now some (or at least one endo) are recognising the importance..great to see!
www.goodhormonehealth.com (this endo is well respected) Iron Deficiency and Fatigue linkI agree with BarbaraCat on the danger of high iron levels and the importance of testing iron including ferritin levels first.. mentioned that in my posts to you. There are other dangers from high iron levels as well..like predispositon to diabetes2..
I didn't reply to your query about adrenals (..like what of?? cortisol??)
as I have no idea why you think yours are high ..blood tests 8AM and 4PM?..saliva test 4 times a day? or just suspect?
...but if they are high normal range in the morning only..In my opinion ONLY that is pretty healthy place to be when starting thyroid meds maybe(NB> I'm not medically qualified and nothing to back this up)
..it's when you keep under continual stress for a LONG PERIOD and your cortisol goes low that is more difficult (IMO again )Best thing you can do for your adrenals is stay away from stress as much as possible...eat whole unprocessed type foods..like real fruit/veges/meat, exercise to your capacity..like a short walk if possible ..and rest as much as possible..put yourself first (I KNOW ..difficult with "terrible twos" but try and get some time alone by putting yourself first sometimes..it's IMPORTANT)
ANd if you do have high adrenals then you had best leave this to your endo and do not try the tyrsoine or VitC either except on his advise of course! (just eat some fruit)
Selenium..if you live in most parts of the US, I would drop to 100mcg daily now for a week or two..and perhaps even to 50mcg daily long term. (females need a lot less than males..especially male studs<grin>)
Hope this helps..
