In reply to Pdoc says need Vit.B with Nardil?, posted by gardenergirl on May 10, 2004, at 9:08:30
The best way is diet as B-complex vitamins are actually a group of eight vitamins, which include thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9), cyanocobalamin (B12), pantothenic acid and biotin. Fish green veggies, beans, whole grains ...etc ...I sometimes pop extra B-complex but take it alone and not with other vitamins as in a multi-vitamin...You have to read the labels to make sure they have ALL the vitamins not most of the complex I get mine at GNC...B12 is best by injection

> I am in the process of changing docs due to insurance changes. One pdoc I interviewed asked if I was taking any vitamin B (6 or 12) due to potential neuropathy from Nardil. Has anyone heard of this? How much and what kind of B vit. should I take?
