Yes.
It's kind of like the difference between methionine (the amino acid) and SAMe (S-adenosyl methionine) the antidepressant. They're structurally related, and one comes from the other, but they're not functionally equivalent.
NADH is a key part of mitochondrial respiration. The mitochondria are the energy factories for every cell. In many chronic states that involve fatigue, there are measurable deficiencies in the function of mitochondria. NADH diffuses into the cells, and boosts the energy output of mitochondria.
It probably won't do much for someone whose mitochondria are working right (because their body would be making enough of its own supply of NADH), but for someone with e.g. chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia or maybe depression, it might provide a real boost.
You still need B3, even if you're taking NADH.
