I was wrong about there being a natural disaster which is why my power prices are exhorbatantly high this week (and the power company has said it expect it to continue on for the next few, at least).
there is basically... no reason. except: why wouldn't you charge that much for electricity - if you could get away with it?
i mean... this is the easiest country in the world in which to do business, after all.
