Sigismund,
You wrote,[...19 days ago....].
The TOS here write that the administration will either reply to the member sending the notification or post in the thread where the statement in question appears.
I am asking those that are interested in this discussion here to click on the links that I am offering that bring out what is known as a {fallacy} in reasoning to persuade people in their minds to a particular belief about something. These fallacious arguments have been used for thousands of years and can be effective, even though they could be false, because some people, (let me refer to them as the {less-informed}), are not informed about them.
Here are some links to these arguments of fallacy. I have posted the {straw man} fallacy and here is a link to some others . I like the wikipedia presentation of these fallacies because there are otther links offered and you could get ideas to use your own search from them to bring out more examples.
I would like the members here to have knowlege of these fallacies >so that they can recognize them< if they appear here >so that they can respond accordingly< and perhaps not be persuaded by a fallacious argument.
One here is what is called {false dilemma} and the link gives a way to decern such and shows some outgrowths of that fallacy. (citation falsdilma). Then a link to a post that has a link to {straw man}and there are other links in that of other fallacies that i would like for you to take some time to aquaint yourselves with them if you like so that when you see them, you could have the knowlege that they are fallacious.
