I think maybe this has to do with board "rollover," and maybe the framed vs. unframed versions too.
Since some long threads would eventually take up the whole visible space of the board if each post in it was displayed at once, and the board itself gets full and runs out of visible space eventually, things must roll over or be condensed occasionally.
Afterwards, whichever post was last in a thread when that happened is left looking like it was the very first post in that thread. Except, it says "Re:" in front of it, so people can still tell it isn't really the very first post. And when it's clicked on and read, all the other earlier posts to it can then be seen in the list that appears right underneath the post being read at the moment.
This part may not be related, so I hope I don't confuse matters: Also, if you're looking at the "framed" version of the board (where it is divided into two halves, with thread/post titles on the left and reading taking place on the right), all posts to a thread are indented underneath the first one in it. (Or, what appears to be the first one, after rollover.) Whereas, in the "unframed" view, all threads, posts and reading takes place on one page/frame, and all thread titles and subsequent posts to them line up exactly underneath each other. With either version tho, occasionally some of the earlier posts to a thread will get "hidden" by roll over.
Anyway, maybe what you're noticing is that the thread or board rolled over, and in several cases your posts happened to be the ones left after the cut off was made. So they appear to be the first and only posts in those threads, but in fact the entire thread is still all connected together. And the rest will show in the list that will appear underneath your posts while they are being read.
And in case framed vs. unframed display is related too -- in one instance you cited, you posted twice to a thread in which a third and earlier post of yours had been left looking like the first post in the thread, after a roll over. So those later two became indented, as happens in the framed view. Any subsequent posts under yours will also be indented.
...Oh dear, I see I can't describe what I'm trying to well at all today! Pity, I guess that doesn't bode well for the new med I'm trying that was supposed to help with that lol.
