Factors that lead to more or less posting

Posted by Deneb on July 25, 2007, at 1:30:21

Hello! Llurpsie said I could write something about this for the presentation, so now I'm going to do some research on this.

What factors lead you to post more? Less?

good mood/bad mood, upset vs content, free time vs busy, before chat vs after chat

I post more when I'm upset. I post seeking attention, friendship and comfort. Sometimes I post to share things that are happening in my life, sort of like blogging.

I post less when I'm content and have nothing going on in my life.

I post less now also because of chat. I find I fulfill most of my Babble needs on chat now.

When there's more activity on Babble that also tends to lead to more contributions.

Since Google changed the way they search for stuff and now Babble doesn't come up as often, maybe less people are finding Babble.

Maybe I'll think of other factors. Right now I need to go to bed.
