deleting posts

I guess that (one of the) troubles with deleting posts is that they make perfectly civil ones (like this one) un-understandable becuase once they are deleted then nobody will know what it is that we are going on about.

I do feel for people who the posts may be directed to. I wouldn't like it either, but I think I get the rationale behind leaving them.

It is a reality that that kind of thing can happen and that it does sometimes. Not even babble is perfect.
