Dr Bob, I have a complaint.

Posted by partlycloudy on November 19, 2004, at 14:33:11

If someone questions the acceptability or civility of a post, should that question not be directed to the individual who made the original post? Shouldn't the moderator be called upon only when those questions cannot be resolved?

I am offended by the reaction to my innocent, polite, and first/last post on the Faith board. I now feel, as others apparently do, very restricted in my freedom to post my opinions, observances, and unsolicited advice (that was a joke) without having it directed to you for suitability. Surely this is not a polite nor indeed a civil way of communicating.

Cannot there not be a resolution to this practice? To be blunt, I do not appreciate having anyone go "behind my back" if they have an issue with something I have posted.

thanks for your time and consideration,
partlycloudy, now thundering.
