I wrote a long-winded reply, but it got lost in the cloud.
To summarize, "standard" aminergic antidepressants don't usually begin truly working until you are one them for:
1. Uncommon - 2-3 weeks.
2. Common - 4-8 weeks.
3. Uncommon - 8-12 weeksPlease don't think like those who left here. Else, you will never get well with any of these drugs.
With ketamine, esketamine, and psilocybin, the time until response can take 1-5 days.
Were I to relapse, I would want to add psilocybin - either daily microdoses or full therapeutic dosages every 3-5 days - to the the four drugs I'm currently taking. Presumably, these drugs will create enough neuroplasticity for my current therapy to "recapture" the antidepressant responce.Atypical neuroleptics can be additive as an adjunct within a week.
