i was watching a episode on a tv show about medical disorders, they had explained something called fatal insomnia. It's a genetic disorder where the brain cannot achive sleep, through the sleep stage, and the sleep sector in the brain is deteriated. Even with powerful barbiturates that could put someone in a coma at the heavy dose, this man could not achieve sleep, he stayed in a limbo state of being awake and asleep, half awake even sedated with powerful barbiturates. It's a limbo state of sedated, but not asleep, he would awake during this powerful sedation in a stupor, then close his eyes again. What a terrible thing, usually death happens after couple months, 6 months, i don't know ill have research again. Everything becomes deteraited, cognition, speech, paralysis, then eventual death. Terrible thing to experience, only few people have it. Deteriation of sleep center in the brain i think is what they said, do a research project on it for intrest. Logging out
