Rehab gave me a spine because I had to tell them to f'k off and reclaim who I am, someone not defined by Xanax usage. Granted, after all that time, I lost control over the Xanax; however, all I needed was the help to detox because the physical dependency was fierce. Luckily I found a hospital that used phenobarbitol. That was relatively quick and painless.
