This guy Peter Smith, a UK doctor, writes a lot about brain inflammation:

I've read that some of the green tea constituents inhibit COMT (Cathechol-O-Methyl-Transferase), which is an enzyme that breaks down dopamine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline. I don't know it this is relevant, but I thought I'd mention it.
