I am still doing well on medical marijuana for depression / anxiety / insomnia. I have a CBD oil, a THC oil and high CBD dry herb.
In terms of effect, vaporizing the (high CBD, low THC) herb is the most potent. The CBD oil works, but doesn't seem as potent (not sure how much is being absorbed).
The CBD has a strong effect on anxiety, and moderate effect on depression. I still take 300mg of lithium, but it does not fully control my symptoms. Overall the cannabis is acting more like a mood stabilizer than anything else.
I have not had any psychotic like effects at all.
The dosing is hard to determine (because of the vaporizer).
lithium 300mg
CBD 20mg oral
Vape 0.1g of 13% CBD, 0.5% THC herb daily
1-2mg of THC oil dailyAnhedonia is gone, anxiety is gone, insomnia is gone (most nights), racing mind is gone, GI problems are gone.
For all intents and purposes, I am well. Ideally, I'd like to take an oral CBD pill (covered by insurance), but such doesn't exist, and I have no insurance.
