Can someone explain this new Nardil study on mice?

Posted March 2018:Body fat reduction without cardiovascular alteration in mice under oral treatment by the MAO inhibitor phenelzine

https://bpspubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/bph.14211

Doesn't Nardil generally lead to weight GAIN not loss? I don't understand the results being:

"Conclusion and implications
Since phenelzine reduced body fat content without affecting cardiovascular function in mice, it may be of interest for the treatment of obesity‐associated complications at the expense of the precautions of use recommended for antidepressant therapy
"

Thanks for any explaination!!
