It's been awhile since I've posted here. I used to be an avid member. I just got out of the treatment center. I've spent 123 days impatient since July 24th, 2014 trying to get me stable and get my Meds right.
I'm on a good regimen now. I have bipolar depression NOS, ADHD-PI, GAD.
sertraline 150mg. QD (Zoloft, Lustral) (1 & 1/2 100mg. tab)
vortioxetine 20mg. QD (Brintellix)
mirtazapine 45mg. QHS (Remeron, Zispin)
lurasidone 60mg. QHS (Latuda)
bupropion hbr 522mg. QD (Aplenzin)
armodafinil 250mg. QD (Nuvigil)
pregabalin 200mg. TID (Lyrica)
topiramate XL 200mg. QD (Trokendi XR, Toprol XL)I'm engaging in life again. The world seems brighter. I'm on track to get my family back.
The sertraline is at the right dose to get sufficient SRI reuptake and is combined successfully with Brintellix at its lowest dose due to an interaction with bupropion-- bupropion increases Brintellix.
Mirtazapine is at the dose for sleep and a slightly activating NE effect due to a2 adrenergic receptor activity.
Latuda, IMO, is one of the best meds and I think it could be used successfully for unipolar depression. I take the right dose to inhibit 60% of DAT.
I take the hydrobromide salt of bupropion and combine it with armodafinil for ADHD. Here's an excellent study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3197159/
Lyrica (pregabalin) controls my anxiety well. I take the max dose for anxiolytic effects.
Topiramate, IMO, is a great mood stabilizer and controls my weight.
I hope everyone is having luck finding the right meds for their dx!
