So i gave the basic background information for this incident in the above post...
Short point, been bad the last about 3 or so weeks. Mostly because i am not able to get Brand Zyprexa, (bad luck with three generics) Came to an all time Bad. Was able to go to hospital WITHOUT having to stay overnight.
i wanted to look up the blue pill they gave me to see if it was brand or generic zyprexa. went and looked. i looked at my discharge papers to verify dosage and i noticed something i didn't know last night.
so i received zyprexa 5mg and ativan 1mg, then when didn't work i got 50mg Hydroxizine hcl. when that still didn't really work they gave me a shot.I told them previously I've only had ativan in the hospital and once as a shot, both times worked great.
so when they gave me the shot i assumed it was ativan... i remember asking and remember they told me. but i apparently was not listening.
they gave me 5mg zyprexa in shot form.******************************
SO !!!
I didn't realize that zyprexa CAME in shot form... i started looking on line about zyprexa/shot form.
and came across some beautiful information for me.There is this Beautiful thing called ZYPREXA RELPREVV
it is shot form that lasts either 2 weeks or 4 weeks.
SOOOOOO
if my stupid pharmacy won't cover pills.
if i do shots i THINK this will actually land under my Health insurance coverage which WILL pay for zyprexa....i need to do more checking. but i feel hopeful.
for now i called pdoc office right away and i can get in monday afternoon, that'f one but i told them i CANT go through this again, i NEED something in the mean time.
She put a rx through to pharmacy for three days of zyprexa 5mg brand.ok.
SO*************************
ANYONE with experience with zyprexa relprevv???
THANKS
