Hey all. A little update to solicit further thoughts:
It's been a week of Abilify 1 mg plus my wacko mix of SSRI baby doses, klonopin, and lamictal.
The abilify seems to make me either restless or tired when I take it. It started with restless after dosage and moved into tired/cloudy/numb an hour or so after I take it. Kinda reminds me or Serzone.
I have no desire to exercise or have sex. Doctor said it's time to move up to 2mgs. I don't want to feel any more cloudy/numb. Hopefully I will become "activated" enough to work out and have sex without crawling out of my skin or smashing glasses.
I wanted the abilify to help with obsessive thoughts/paranoia/avoidance issue, plus some lability and BPD-ish issues. I don't need it so much to help with the depression. Not sure if it can do those things at a lower dose.
I bumped up my Zoloft to 25mgs from 12.5 yesterday just to see if it would bring back libido. Paradoxically bumping up that or the Celexa has historically increased the libido before other undesirable effects come into play.
Nothing sexual happened, but the concentration and self-possession that I love about zoloft came back for a day.Unfortunately, so did the anger and sadness this morning that tends to accompany my zoloft. I was hoping the stabilization properties of Abilify would modulate the zoloft. There is a med interaction between the two and zoloft potentiates the abilify.
Has anyone had sexual side effects from abilify OR seroquel?
If this doesn't turn out, I might try the zoloft and seroquel with the hopes of quelling the zoloft anger.
Should weight gain/sedation be a problem at a baby dose like 12.5 or 25 mgs of seroquel?
