Good luck! I had a bad experience with a paxil taper years ago. Pdoc read an article (you are always in trouble when pdoc reads a new article...) that said you could switch 1 for 1 mg paxil and prozac. So overnight I switched from 30mg paxil to 30 mg prozac. Disaster! Pdoc said she would never do that again! (Good thing I really liked her and was able to get over that mistake!)

That said, prozac can help with the paxil taper because it stays in your system longer. Don't know if that would be helpful here.

The other thing that helped with my taper was Ativan.
