In order to prevent insomnia, tranylcypromine (Parnate) is usually taken in one or several doses BEFORE 1PM. Some people take it all in one in the morning, others take it split up between morning and noon. Ask your doctor though before changing your regimen. It also depends on whether you have problems with insomnia or not.

The blood levels of trancylcypromine are less important than for other meds, because the pharmacodynamic half-life is much much longer than with other meds.

As for remembering to take it during the day: you can set alarms on your mobile phone to remind you that you have to take your dose.
