http://archpsyc.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/abstract/35/5/629To sustain a robust response in the real world, ~1mg/kg is often needed. More to the point, I'd like to see some studies where they _did_ cut back to a maintenance dose, because I've only seen this in the monograph.
Phenelzine also has an active metabolite that inhibits GABA-T. You will not get this in sufficient quantities to do anything on a "maintenance dose".
