I worked at a teaching hospital, and the new physicians I met all seemed to be functioning at a higher level of mental health than I was. If my ADD issues had been treated, then maybe. I don't think of math as being all that high pressure. Assuming you are talking about undergraduate. I made it through undergraduate computer science, although not without experiencing florid MH problems and being somewhat scarred by the experience.
