One my friends (and she actually came from the US to spend a week with me, so she is not really just an online friend anymore) takes 110 mg. She has been on it for 12 years now. She was originally on 80 mg but over the years has had to increase it a bit. She doesn't have any side effects. My friend takes 80 mg and has been on it for 2 years. When she first started the med she had insomia for a while, but that went away in a few months.
I take it for depression, but it has helped my anxiety. I used to take Seroquel for anxiety but I gained a lot of weight on it. But now I don't get the anxiety I used to have. I am bipolar so it is hard for to tell what is anxiety and what is hypomania. I do take a mood stabiliser, Trileptal, with the Parnate because I am bipolar.
I really hope you get to try this med. It's not for everyone, but it's worth a try.
