can a pdoc 'call in' a benzo script??

Posted by obsidian on May 22, 2009, at 23:46:20

I am going to so screwed my friends.
I went to this one pharmacy particularly convenient to me to fill the klonopin among other things. Well, when I went to pick it up they said they hadn't had all of the klonopin (not enough generic klonopin?) well "ok", I said, "I'll pick it up another day." Well, now I am out of it, never went to pick it up, and won't be able to pick it up until Wednesday. That leaves me no pills for the next 4 days. I don't know if I can get a hold of my pdoc, let alone get another pharmacy to advance me the needed amount of klonopin. If I had some ativan left over I might just use that to get me through, but I have nothing, and along with the anxiety it's going to mess seriously with my brain. I'm just going to leave pdoc a message. I think pharmacies won't accept phoned in scripts for klonopin. We shall see. I am not looking forward to the prospect of going from 1mg daily to no klonopin for the next 4 days.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Sid
