Think about it this way: there's your brain and there's your mind. The brain is the physical structure in which the mind, a mental creation, lives. Your thoughts can change the way your brain functions but not enough if you have a physically based disorder like depression or OCD. You need medication. You can't think your way out of this, I think. Find a good Pdoc and get a consult. See what they say and how you feel about it. Don't blame yourself. That's depression speaking. Your brain may be hard wired for OCD. It's not something bad you've done. It's something bad in your life that you have to struggle with. Take it easy on yourself. No blame.
