>Inflammation usually comes from an infection. Most of the possible infections are not diagnosable. Treatment has to be blind, based on history, symptoms, and quite honestly, just a test to see what happens and either rule it in or out.
lack of exercise/sleep, excess calories and obesity, excess trans, w-6 and palmitic fats, insufficient nutrients, various pollutants, etc are all more likely causes of systematic inflammation for most people. heck, rolling around in the dirt and getting a GI parasite can improve some of these conditions.
I mean, if you can't tell what the gremlins are that are infecting you, and you don't know what specifically is going wrong (th1? Type II, III? Who knows?) then how does it help? theres intersting fuctions for the immune system in mental health but unfindable gremlins doesn't help treatment. and if you don't know, they how do you decide if IL-6 shoudl go up or down? hwat if you actually have lyme disease, and IL-10 is suppressed? guess wrong, and have fun with the allergies. better to focus on factors you know are wrong, and can fix, to reduce the dysregulation as much as possible. lots of bad things are inflammatory, but so are good things, like excercise and sleep.
