Myco,
Did anyone ever tell you what a great person you are? Your positivity is inspiring and I will refer back to your post as I go through this.
And no, you are not weird. It's great to see that you can still roll with the punches and keep your sense of humor. :-)
I wish I could follow the same advice I give to other people here about patience and know that things will get better. I still have major control issues with this condition (I really hate calling it an illness) that I myself need to let go of.
My hubby and son put together a rock band and they get to play their first initial "gig" this weekend. Other than the side effects going on today, I am upset that I won't be able to go because the drive is an hour away from the house and that is way beyond my safety zones as of right now. It's all I can do to go to the grocery store that is just 5 minutes down the road. LOL!!!
My son, who is very understanding, kissed me on the head, gave me a big hug and told me not to worry about it because he knows that I will eventually get to watch him.
It just breaks my heart that this illness has effected me to this degree. So i think this has made today a little worse. I just want to be able to get back out there and go, go, go like I used to.
But, it's cool. I'll get there. Appreciating you letting me know about the ups and downs going on these maois in the months to come. Not sure what the therapeutic dose is on Marplan, but will look that one up. Sides effects aren't so bad, except mainly the nauseau.
Hope things stay good with you and I will be posting my progress in the days to come because I know there were some others here considering Marplan.
Take Care,
CS
