Long term use of Pregabalin for anxiety...

Posted by jms600 on February 5, 2009, at 15:39:15

I was looking at some anxiety meds on the net when I came across this study.

http://www.biomedexperts.com/Abstract.bme/18090504/Long-term_efficacy_of_pregabalin_in_generalized_anxiety_disorder

If I'm reading it correctly, scientists found that at the end of the 24 weeks, patients taking Pregabalin were less likely to have relapsed back into GAD than those on placebo.

Does this then indicate that Pregabalin still has some anxiolytic properties even with long term use??
