I am confused. My psychologist and I are in a "battle" with one another because he is telling me that I dont have the disorders that I think I do...(even though he DIAGNOSED THEM TO ME 3 years ago). I told him in an email that it is stupid for me to continue taking medications for disorders that I supposedly DONT HAVE. And, I told him I wanted to come off my meds because apparently there is nothing wrong with me...(im getting rebelious...) He told me three years ago that I have depression, anxiety, Ocd, PTSD, and Borderline Persoanlity Disorder...NOW he is saying I am not BPD or Bipolar...so WHY HAVE I BEEN ON MEDICATION TO TREAT WHEN I DONT HAVE THEM?
He said that the medications are used to treat the symptoms...not the disorder...But HELLO, I told him, the symptoms are what makes the DISORDER..so therefore the medication is TREATING THE DISORDER. When I go to publix to pick up my prescriptions, they say this medicine is used to treat bipolar and other conditions as decided by your doctor...IT DOES TREAT THE DISORDER.
He has me so confused.
