You could try it, but it doesn't sound like it's providing complete relief of your symptoms. If augmentation doesn't work, and dosage increase doesn't work...well...I'd try something else.
Since I went on meds I've been reading all about different types, side effects, etc. One thing I've learned is that for many, near-complete symptom relief IS possible. While there might not be a "perfect" drug for you, you may be able to get a lot closer.
I am not an expert. However, it seems like many people on this board, and others, get relief from MAOIs when SSRIs haven't been effective enough, or have caused too many disabling side effects. There's Remeron and Doxepin, too, which I think are TCAs. If it were me, I'd try one of those routes. I have friends who have had terrible effects from SSRIs, but love Remeron.
It pretty much sucks that you have to monkey around with your mental health this way, but trial and error seems like the only way to go.
