my shrink says that lower doses of abilify tend to be "activating" and higher doses tend to be more "soothing." I think maybe some people find the "activation" at lower doses to include akathisia (?). Personally I started at 20mgs (still at 20mgs) w/o any serious problems. I tried 30mgs back in the day and got some EPS and dysphoria, but I don't know if thats terribly common.
