50mg did okay, but the real or definite antidepressant action been gained on 100mg.
If you plan to try Trivastal, keep in mind it is not going to be a smooth ride for the first few days at least. Get prepared for increased anxiety, sleeping problems etc. Besides, something like a worsening of depression too can occur. But story would be different if you can hang on.
Always keep a benzo like Xanax or Ativan handy. You might need it when you are about to explode. Such a reaction is not uncommon as I occasionally have bouts of severe anxiety even after weeks on the med.
