Elanor, I have never gotten much relief from SSRI drugs other than slight improvement of anxiety from lex. I did get weight gain and other side effects. So I went off lexapro. It made me flatter than I am usually which is pretty flat. I then as an experiment took a 10 mg. of lex and that day is the only day I got the so called high. I have more energy etc. I dont think though if I continued taking it daily I would continue to get the same results. I haven't taken another one. Interesting concept every other day with tricyclic drug.
