~~~ I thought it just hit T3 also and most sources state that. I would tend to think an addition would be needed to really impact T4.
You may be a bit older than I, but seeing as the assault our hepatic system and assimilation systems take over time and the changes in metabolism, some prescribers are being gingerly considerate on dosing if one is much toward and into fifty. That's probably good prudent thinking as the lowest EFFECTIVE dosing is a good goal, IMO.
